Would like to start by describing the idiocy of common practice of putting pesticides in our hives. Common sense says do not do this. Research has proved that these substances as well as herbicides, fungicides and agricultural pesticides build up in hives, particularly commercially operated ones. There are better ways, hygienic genetics, dowda method, smoke, beetle traps, good forage and quality food to help keep the hive strong really help against the pests.
