If sensitive ore more than a few stings take diphenhydramine (benadryl) or inject your epi pen immeadiately head for medical care (hospital or dr) and monitoring. Anaphylactic Shock can sneak up on ya and you end up suffocating not a pretty way to go. If not very sensitive, a topical cream of diphenhydramine will help the local itch and swelling. Somebody's grandaddy swore by tobacco, tried it and couldn't tell, but wasps are bad for me. Someone else's grandma said ammonia, but I hesitate to put toxic stuff onto my body if it ain't natural at least. I mean I have been known to make lye soap with the family and use it so... The modern antihistamines work well even if they do make some of us groggy and grumpy "me" so i only use the cream on a sting maybe, but a wasp will swell my whole arm up with benadryl in me quick. One day they may give me a more severe reaction.
